Our history cafe sessions are designed to let anyone come along, and chat with like minded people that are interested in the local history and genealogy of Paisley and Renfrewshire. We tend to have open sessions, with no set topic, so no topic relating to local history or genealogy is off the table.
This session will be held on Sat 1st August 2026 in Blend Coffee Lounge in Paisley Arts Centre, New Street, Paisley between 10 and 11.30am.
We have a small booking fee of £5 which goes to the Beatson Cancer Charity to help suuport their work. Stephen, The Urban Historian received treatment at the Beatson and the Bone Marrow Transplant Unit at the QEUH as part of his Leukemia recovery and this is one way of helping Stephen support their work.
Places at all history cafe’s are limited to 6 – due to the cafe size (we don’t want to stop others enjoying their great products!)
