Paisley’s Textile Heritage Walk  –  Please note the change of date
This heritage walk will explore some of the textile industries of Paisley as we walk from Shuttle Street towards the Anchor Mills of the Clark family.  On route we will talk about weaving, Linen and silk thread, print works, calander works, and much more.
 
The cost of each walk is £5.50 with the walks lasting about 2 hours.
We will meet at 1.30pm on Saturday 17th October on Sma’ Shot Lane, Paisley PA1 2HZ.  Full meeting details will he sent out to participants on the Friday before the walk.
 
Audio headsets will be used on the walk to help with traffic noise. Each headset comes with standard headphones that are disinfected between use, but we also have a supply of new headphones that can be purchased on the day for £1 if you prefer new ones.  You are also welcome to bring your own standard 3.5mm jack headphones.
Please note:  If paying via our card option (not PayPal) you may receive an automatic email saying the purchase has been cancelled.  This an ongoing issue, but rest assured we will manually confirm the purchase and you will receive a second email saying the order is being processed.  A completed order email will be sent once the event has happened.  If you have any concerns during purchaes please contact us.  At the moment PayPal payments have been activated as a second option and purchases through PayPal go throu seemlessly.
