Description
Oakshaw is home to four graveyards, two related to the Curch of Scotland and of two dissenting congregations. Over this walk we will look at the sites of three of the graveyards, and explore in more detail that of Oakshaw Trinity aka the High Kirk.
The walk will commence at 11am outside No 6 Meeting House Lane (the former Oakshaw East Church). from there will walk to Oakshaw Trinity, while talking about the Gaelic Church and Oakshaw West.
A second tour will be run at 1.30pm, following the same route.
