UH Talk – Mapping Paisley’s Textile Heritage
In this talk/ workshop we will explore Paisley’s textile heritage using online and paper maps. Paisley’s textile heritage goes back to 1722 for thread manufacturing and long before that for weaving. We will look at locations of the weaving industry, thread mills and much more.
This talk will be held in Paisley St George’s Church on Causeyside St, Paisley between 7 and 9pm on Tueday 25th August 2026.
Entry is by the side door from Causeyside Street only.
